The Extension:

• ✅ Does NOT use analytics or tracking tools

• ✅ Does NOT require user accounts or registration

Data Storage

The Extension stores your filter preferences locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:

• Filter selection (e.g., "dark mode", "sepia")
• Filter enabled/disabled state

This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not transmitted to any server
• Is only used to remember your settings
• Can be cleared by uninstalling the extension

Permissions Used

activeTab

• Purpose: Apply color filters to the webpage you're viewing
• Data Access: Only the current active tab when you use the extension
• No Storage: We don't store or transmit tab information

storage

• Purpose: Save your filter preferences locally
• Data Stored: Filter type and enabled state only
• Location: Chrome's local storage on your device

scripting

• Purpose: Inject CSS styles to apply color filters
• Scope: Only when you activate a filter
• No Data Collection: We only apply visual styles, no data is read or stored

Third-Party Services

The Extension does NOT use any third-party services, including:

• No analytics (Google Analytics, etc.)
• No advertising networks
• No crash reporting
• No external APIs

Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The extension is safe for all ages.

We may update this privacy policy. Any changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date.
